I take looked through Sticky Keys, Filter Keys, Repeat Keys, etc. I have Filter Keys, Pasty Keys, and Toggle Keys off.

Try toggling Filter keys.  FWIW that selection makes my keyboard completely non-functional.  I just get weak beeps from any keystroke.  YMMV.  Patently a way to get at that place is to press and concord the right-Shift- primal for at to the lowest degree 8 seconds.

            turned on Filter Keys

At present toggle information technology off.  Sometimes toggling a switch on and off acts as a kind of repair of its functionality.

At that place is also a Speed tab in Keyboard Properties (Win-ten P K Enter).  Come across what its country is and if changing anything there changes your symptom.  Note that if you want to test the Pointer keys or Backspace yous must have first typed something into the test area.

Good luck

I've got them set at the fastest setting for me, since "Wearisome Keys" sets upward a delay on each printing, but turning off Slow Keys makes any gamble of curing the symptoms disappear. I estimate I'll simply accept to live with the problem.

Thanks for all the assist.

Holding down the Left Shift Key does nothing for my KB. I am trying to turn on repeat key so I'll exist able to go back with the BackSpace primal too and of course the usual repeating on whatsoever other key. Am on W10 and for some reason if I create another user profile it works fine and when I cheque those KB settings they are identical to my other contour then I'chiliad stumped. Did observe a registry setting on some other forum that supposedly sets the echo rate at a slightly slower speed for W10.

come across this link for W10
